Languages

Just remembered this subhashitha! so here it goes,
"
भाषासु मुख्या मधुरा दिव्या गीर्वाणभारती |
ततोsपि काव्यं मधुरं तस्मादपि सुभाषितं ||

bhAshAsu mukhyA madhurA divyA gErvaNabhArathE |
thathOapi kavyaM maDhuraM thasmAdapi subhAShithaM ||

 "

Among languages, the most important, sweetest and the most divine is the language of the Gods |
so is the literature and the quotations therein ||

SubhAShitaM looses translates to quotations but the literal meaning would be "well spoken phrase".
"The language of the Gods" is the literal translation of gErvaNabhArathE, meaning samksrithaM.
